Wills joined the Pioneers staff in October 2008 after two years spent coaching at her alma-mater, Dartmouth College, where she served as defense and recruiting coordinator.
However, most recently, the Colorado native returns to Denver as a World Cup Champion Goalkeeper who played this past June in the 2009 World Cup on the US National Team. She was named MVP of the gold medal game against Australia.
During her time playing for the Big Green from 2003-06, Devon was a three-time All-American and four-time All-Ivy League performer. In 2006, Devon led the NCAA in goals against average while leading Dartmouth to the NCAA tournament all four years, and the NCAA championship game in 2006. In 2003 Devon was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Year.
As a result of her many accomplishments, Devon was named the 2006 Colorado Sportswoman of the Year.
Devon grew up in Denver. She attended high school at Colorado Academy, graduating in 2002.

Denver Summit Lacrosse was founded by the University of Denver Women’s Lacrosse coaching staff: Head Coach Liza Kelly, and Assistant Coaches Rachel Shuck,and Colorado native, Devon Wills. Combined, these women have experience with top Division I programs, NCAA tournaments, NCAA Championships, US National Teams, and most notably, the 2009 gold medal winning US World Cup Team in Prague.
Additional Denver Summit coaches will include current and former Division I and III players from several elite institutions across the country. From this depth of experience, our staff can provide prospective college players with insight into the many facets of the college process, from recruiting through the daily life of a student-athlete.
